In its ten years impacts on people across the length and width of Nigeria, especially the Northern region, the Environmental Care Foundation (EFC) in collaboration with the Network of Adamawa Non-Governmental Organizations (NANGO) set to mark its ten years anniversary serving humanity.
The event will culminate with awards to honor prominent Nigerian heroes and heroines who are making an impact in their various fields of endeavors.
ECF has over ten years has been promoting sustainable development and ameliorating livelihood through programs development and implementation of those projects to include agro-based livelihood Education, Climate Change, Peace building, and community development.
This was revealed by ECF founder, Mr. Yohanna Moses who emphasized that the vision and mission of the NGO is all about Humanitarian services to mankind.
Moses confirmed to our correspondent that the anniversary celebration will feature a plenary session tagged ” Humanitarian and human development nexus and the new way of working”.
According to him, the plenary session will have renowned scholars which include Professor Nana Tanko, Executive Director, VSF, Dr. Abdullahi Belel, Managing Director, Belldome Hospital, Mr. Moseray Sesay, Head Sub office (Adamawa), UN OCHA, Mr. Peter Michael, NANGO Chairman, and Ms. Geraldyn Ezeakile, Governance Officer GIZ as panelists.
He further said that Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the chief host and one among many others like Buba Marwa, Bishop Steven Dami Mamza, Alhaji Abubakar Gambo Jika are to receive the Award on the 17th May 2021 at AUN Hotel Hall and to be part of the colorful event.
Other awardees are DR Abdullahi Dauda Belel, Mr. Moseray Sesay, Professor Nana Tanko, Mr. Peter Michael, Ms. Geraldyn Ezeakile, Mr. Abdulhameed Aliyu, (NIRSAL), and Some Executive Directors of the organization
“In marking ECF at ten the award presentation to our various esteemed recipient will be preceded by a plenary session which will 9:00 am by 9:00 am to 12noon. Fifty Executive Directors of various non-governmental organizations operating in Adamawa state under the umbrella of Network of Adamawa nongovernmental organizations (NANGO) in various Thematic areas (Humanitarian and Development) would participate in the plenary session with other participants from INGO Faith-Based organizations, religious communities leaders as well as some state actors.
“The Panel Discussions will be moderated by Dr. Amos Yusuf (Executive Director, Clearview integrity foundation ) with five esteemed panelists drawn from both Humanitarian and Development sector in the State, sharing their experience and expertise on the subject of the discussion,” Moses said
