1064: Adamawa APC Congress,Alhaji Bilal polled the leading votes for Chairmanship position

The immediate past chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Ibrahim Bilal has polled the highest votes.

Bilal is leading with 1064, having his closest contestant, Hon Vrati Nzonzon with 224 votes.

Counting of votes scored by the other candidates is still ongoing, the votes scored in the chairmanship has been known.

The returning officer of the congress, Professor Umar Katsayal has after counting the votes casted in the chairmanship contest said, Bilal has scored 1,064 votes to win the contest while Vrati Nzonzo who emerged his distant runner up scored 224.

Our reporter who was at the venue said counting of the votes is still ongoing at the time of compiling this report.
