After a meeting on Monday in Abuja, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) announced that they had adopted a zoning template for the 10th National Assembly’s principal officers’ position.
According to a document released after the meeting, the Senate President’s position would be zoned to the South South region of Nigeria, with Senator Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom state being a potential candidate.
Others are “Deputy Senate President – North West-Senator Barau Jubrin (Kano).
“Speaker, House of Representatives North West-Hon. Abass Tajudeen (Kaduna).
“Deputy Speaker South East-Hon. Ben Kalu (Abia)”
