The remains of the former Federal lawmaker representing Hong-Gombi federal constituency at the National Assembly,Hon Haske Francis Hananiya who died on the 24th June, 2019 in Abuja at the age of 64 after a brief illness.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Gida Mustapha, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa state, Speaker Adamawa state House of Assembly Alhaji Aminu Iya Abbas and former SGF Babachir Lawan among others witnessed the burial ceremony.

The remains of Haske has been committed to mother earth on Saturday at his home Hong, Adamawa state with hundreds of mourners attended the funeral church service that took place at Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria LCCN number one Hong, Adamawa state.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri while addressing the congregation described death as inevitable and urged family and friends of late Hon Haske Hananiya to take heart and bear the irreparable lost.

“Late Francis Hananiya was a man of good character who left a good legacy people should emulate the deceased in fostering unity and harmony for the development of the state” he added.

In his vote of thank an elder brother of the deceased, Retired Major General Haladu Hananiya thanked Governor Umaru Fintiri and other dignitaries who stand by them and prayed to God to reward them abundantly.
Others who spoke at the event include various Bishops and Clerics admonished the congregation to prepare for death so as to have a fruitful life in the hereafter.

Late Haske Frascis Hananiya served as a member of the House of Representatives for Hong and Gombi Federal Constituency from 2011-2015 and is survived by a wife, 5 children, 3 grandchildren and siblings.
