The National Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN) have recognised one of Adamawa grassroot politician,Alhaji Abdul’azeez Abubakar Abbo Malafa for his immense contributions to the development Gombi LGA and empowering of Youths in Adamawa state.
The Gombi LGA branch of the NYCN through it leadership yesterday presented a merit award of excellence to Malafa,stating that his focused agenda on Youths by empowering them to be business oriented and pursuit their academic respective careers was the idea behind the Award.
The Branch Chairman of the union Bashir Ya’u said the outstanding contributions and service to humanity by Abbo are seen by respected community leaders hence the special recognition.
Ya’u further said that Abbo philanthropical life style is non of his type in the whole of Gombi LGA and the decision by the council for the noble award has become necessary for posterity to judge him good.
In his response,Malafa in a show of gratitude said the award has humbled him and makes him more happier that the little support he always renders is unknowingly being appreciated by people in the larger society.
He vowed to do more as the award has staged him out as a man who is much closer to the people at the grassroot.
“This is keeping me focused to do more for people especially those that are not so privileged in life. The essence of life is to be a helper to people from anywhere.
“We must lend and extend our hands of love to all people because the meaning of life is to show a heart of kindness and love to people.” He said
