An 18-year old girl who recently concluded her Secondary education has died in Yobe Presidential lodge after one Dr. Albash Ibrahim Yahya allegedly took her to the lodge where she was found dead.
In a video clip that went viral on the social media which was later deleted, the deceased could be seen naked while about 4 people were desperately trying to resuscitate her as she was gasping for breath.
The girl who had ambition of becoming a lawyer was said to have taken too much drugs on that day (Friday) but people are attributing her death to either gang sex or drugs complication.
Presidential lodge which is Yobe State Government owned property is exclusively for V.I.Ps and it is not yet clear who gave approval to the suspects to use the lodge for private purposes.
Many people who were interviewed but pleaded for anonymity have urged Yobe State Government to come out and clear its name about the scandal before the image of government officials is dented.
Meanwhile, Yobe State Police Command has arrested 4 people in connection to the incident including the principal suspect, one Dr. Albash Ibrahim Yahya.
The corpse of the deceased has been deposited in the Hospital’s mortuary in Damaturu for autopsy.
