20 yr Adamawa student wins African best world bank scholarship exams

Adamawa indigene won Africa World Bank Scholarship scheme haven scored ninety-nine points out of hundred and beat one Thousand five hundred qualified competitors.

Favour Musa Mbahai a second-year Student of Microbiology at Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH), Yola became the overall best and took the first position.

Musa who is an indigene of Gombi Local Government Area of the state initially applied to study Human Medicine at Gombe state university, despite the qualified JAMB score he was still not given admission.

On a telephone chat with our correspondent he said is still having the dream to study medicine even if it is after his first degree.

Favour who had a rigorous exams competition from Yola last month and became the most successful student,proceeded to Abuja at Nicon Hilton hotel where he wrote the final exams and became the best in Africa.

A concerned citizen in the state, Kefas Adamu praised the young lad for making the state proud.

He called on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of the state to specially honor Musa for the glory is bringing to Adamawa state.

He said Ahmadu’s vision of making Adamawa a proud state in the area of Education will not hesitate to encourage people like Mbahi to soar higher for the state.
