A priest of the Anglican Communion Church of Yola Diocese,Ven.Yunusa Habila have called on Nigerians to stop disturbing themselves over the 2019 general elections,”for as far as God is concern the elections are over.”
Yunusa who is the Deputy Chaplain during a Sunday sermon to the congregation of Adamawa state Government chapel said that Nigerians need not to worry over the elections that will becoming in some few months to come.
Habila through his Sunday message title ”things to worry about” said the palpable tension seen in the heart of people is giving so many a sleepless night.
“What is going to be is going to be,God has decided through divine means to give us leaders in this country.” He said
According to him Nigerians are only waiting for the set date of swearing-in for those God willed to be leader to take the leadership oath.
” God has already elected his own people who will Mann the affairs of this country according to His plan,so we need to worry at all.” He added
He further advised politicians and Nigerians to embrace politics of Peace and unity that will chart a new course of the country, avoid creating political walls that will lead in having enemies at the detriment of the fragile Peace and unity the country is enjoying.
He Charged them by using the book of Mathew 6:31-33 asserting that Christians should not be worry over issues of life.
He called on Nigerians to worry about seeking the kingdom of God,seeking to live a righteous life before God and Man and to desire to get out of this evil world by making it to heaven.
“God want us to totally repent avoid and run away from sin and saying no to unclean life style,totally surrendering our life to him as our maker and savior.”
He revealed that believers need not to worry about their social,physical and spiritual needs as our God is able, He will provide all our need according to His through Christ our Lord.
“If you believe God you don’t need to worry over anything that disturb you,if thoroughly God is your Father, what do you think you will lack?” He asked
