Engineer Markus Gundiri , has formally declared interest to contest for the governorship ticket of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) .
He formally declared his interest on Tuesday at the party’s secretariat in Yola ,the Adamawa state capital.
According to Gundiri, ” I am out here to tell the people of the state and the party that I want to contest for governorship of Adamawa state in 2019″.
Gundiri boosted that with his connection with the western World, he will mobilized investors and the development to the state.
He also said that, many youths in the state need the best in a education , hence an administration ran by him, appointment would be made in conjunction with the party leadership .
Adamaw he said, deserved much more than any state in the north.
On farmers/ Herders clashes, Gundiri said it is a worst thing to happen because all must understand and live together as one.
Earlier, the Director General Gundiri campaign organization, Doctor Bagire , expressed gratitude for the reception given to them ,saying they want to contribute their quota for the development of the state.
Also, Vice chairman APC Adamawa central Zone, Alhaji Bakari Mubi, had described the candidate who held from his zone as a democrat and therefore, called for a fair primaries.
In his response , Mr Samuila Thaddeus ,,state Vice chairman of the APC , who stood in for the chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal ,who also double as the chairman Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, disclosed that man has plans , but God knows the heart.
And he adds , ” We in APC believed in justice to all candidate”
He then urged politicians to advice their supporters to guide against unguided statements.
Our Correspondent reports that the candidate equally donated two vehicles to the party.
