A Women Association under the umbrella of Women for Buhari/Osibanjo organisation Adamawa state Chapter vowed to mobilised votes for Buhari and Bindow come 2019.
The Women in a courtesy visit to Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow in Government House Yola extolled his adminstration of having progressives achievements.
According to the State coordinator of the association,Hon Gumi Simon Said
With what Bindow is doing in state is becoming a stallion horse whose campaign is easy and making him a sellable Man than anybody else in the State.
“We are here to tell you our loyalty is unshakable and to tell you we are out to mobilise women in Adamawa state to vote for Buhari and Osibanjo,and with what you are doing be rest assured women in the State will give you a blog votes.
”Our coming is to also let you know that we will be embarking on a voter’s card enlightenment campaign to all the women in 226 wards on how to vote the right candidates,we discovered most of the invalid votes are been casted by women, thereby reducing the chances of our viable candidates.
”We hope to established coordinators in all the 21 LGAs and Wards with the sole aim of bringing Buhari/Osibanjo and Bindow/Babale in 2019 by the grace of God.” She Said
She further revealed that the organization is an embodiment of women technocrats in the state with experienced politicians,Business women, Educationists and seasoned retired civil servants who came together to help in pushing the state forward.
” To achieve a huge success we divided the organisation into two wing,the elderly and Young (Youths) women who are working in synergy in meeting and finding the right people who can meet the Right people for our votes for you to count.” Added
Mrs Gumi Simon took time to appreciate Hajiya Fatimatu Abbo Jimeta who envisioned the movement and availed her House for the meetings and other activities of the Union. Also thanking the Personal Principal Assistant to the Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Bakari for given them the needed financial support.
In his contribution secretary to the state Government, Dr Umar Bindir described Gov as a man with a clean standard whose administration records is very transparent for everyone to see
According to him the Bindow led government is here to chnage the statusco by doing what Adamawa people have earlier told Bindow yo do for them.
Describing Bindow to be a man with a very high financial discipline and transparency,having a close monitory syndrome in any work he delegated others to do, a gender specialist.
“you are the hurricane joining Bindow to move the State forward, he is liquon Yo of Adamawa, the Paul Kagame and, sai Baba of Adamawa state. He is inventing,creating a new Adamawa state and you now part of the movement.” Bindir Said
In his response Governor Bindow appreciate them for recognising what he is doing in an effort to change the state and Adamawa is my priority that he believe only to serve the entire of people not a particular religion or tribe or certain individuals.
He urged them to keep praying for him and the peace of Adamawa state because it’s only that will warrant development to flow in the State.
The Governor ensure them of his total support in order to bring into light to grassroots the progress so far that his government is able to achieve in few years in office.
