A stalwart of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa state, Alhaji Babangida Talasai Said the senator representing senatorial district of central zone in the State, Abdulaziz Nyako will never in any way alter the chances of the ruling party winning in 2019.
Talasai who is the ALGON Chairman of all the 21 APC LGA Chairman of the Party told our reporter in his Yola office Monday immediately after Aziz’s defected to African Democracy Congress (ADC) party in the state.
He Said that ADC is not a Party to beat come 2019 and is very unpopular to make any headway in 2019.
“Aziz’s defection is never an injury to our eyes as APC members,don’t forget APC is won an elections in Adamawa despite so many able aspirants like the Marcus Gunduri in SDP,Ahmed Modibbo in PDM and Nuhu Ribadu in PDP now are all members of APC. Who else can beat us in 2019?” He asked
” One thing I know and is sure the popularity of APC is on daily basis increasing,recently we had a mass defection of people from PDP to APC in Mayo Belwa LGA, just last weekend Ekiti State formerly belonging to PDP but now is an APC.
“I’m assuring you 2019 President Muhammadu Buhari will be in office for the second term and Governor Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow will return as the executive governor of Adamawa state for the second term.” Talasai said
He continue to say that ADC for a party without National or state structure to come and dislodge a Party of international popularity.
While responding to the massive killings of farmers and herders in the country might scuttling,deducing and reducing the puporlarity of the party in 2019.
Babangida distance the clashes between Farmers and Herders to be either political or religious but ignorance of Nigerian people who allow selfish Nigerians to be brainwashing them against ourselves.
He made a passionate appeal to all Nigerians to embrace one another for the sake of Peace.
“We don’t behave like this before, but I think is just that people fail to understand that some people are using us to their economic or political benefit.
” At this jet age there shouldn’t be anyone inducing any for nefarious activities.”Talasai Said
“No any place develop if the people don’t embrace unity,people are backbone of development in any given society and they should not be allow for selfish Nigerias to brainwash them for their selfish interest be it political or religious.” He added
” We are wise and smart people, we are known this quality all over the world why should we be cage with odd idea of some people using to destroy ourselves and communities?” He asked
In a swift response the Media aide to Senator Abdulaziz Nyako, Alhaji Awwal Usman that the incumbent senator cannot think of defection as an alternative means of his political struggles but the injustices in the Party is making people to decamp to other Party.
According to him Aziz cross carpeting to ADC is with thousands of supporters is a sign of the downfall of APC in the country.
He continue to Say that the last Congresses of APC from Ward, LGA, State, and Federal was careful done to favor some people against some and Nyako is among those that are in the black book of the Party.
