The House of Representative Lawmaker From Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone representing Michika/Madagali,Hon Zakariya Dauda Nyampa said prayers and unity of purpose are one of the major tools in fighting the Pandemic coronavirus in Nigeria.
Nyampa on a passionate appeal enjoined Nigerians to unite in spirit, unity of purpose adhering to the basics principles of health tips of washing hands, avoiding crowd,wearing face masks, social distancing and staying at home as the best way of halting the spread of the virus.
Dauda while calling on people to pray and pray without ceasing, he said the Pandemic coronavirus is a killer of life and property as its multiplies negetive effect is attacking Economy of the world.
“I enjoined us all as good patriotic Nigerians to pray until something positive happens,the virus is a killer of Man and destroyer of what Humanity depends on.
“It’s killing thousands of people and killing the Economy life of even great nations, nothing we can do than to come in one spirit of prayers irrespective of the faith we profess for God to Wade it off through His Mercy.” Dauda called
He further said that the effects of the virus is turning the Economy of Nigeria upside down, making Government to slice down budget implementation as revenue generation is drastically going down,agencies seems not to meet up with targets and oil at the international market is less than thirty dollars per barrel.
Zakariya appreciate the effort of the Federal and State Government to be standing strong on their toes in measures to curb the spread of the virus to other States.
Nyampa commended Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila whose enormous wisdom in leading the green Chambers has earned him good name since the outbreak of covid-19.
“Our able speaker through the instrumentally of the House have agreed all Honourable Lawmakers will donate their Monthly salaries for the fight against covid-19 pandemic, this I commend him for making the move to help all Nigerians. ” Dauda said
Zakariya while sympathising with the people of his Constituency over the hash Economy and health down turn experiencing around the globe, he called on them to consider the lock down imposed by the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as a right decision in the interest of everyone.
He maintain that social distancing and the stay at home campaigns remains the disconnecting measure that can drastically reduce the spread of the virus.
“I’m calling on you to obey the order as it is temporary meant to check mate the fast spreading of the world number one virus that has not cure yet. ” He added
