Fire Guts INEC Office In Abuja

A fire outbreak has occurred at the Abuja office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The fire is said to have occurred at the of office of the Director of ”election and party monitoring”.

”Yes, there was a fire incident. Fortunately, we have a fire unit in the office. It was put out,” the CABLE quoted Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi, INEC director of publicity and voter education to have said.

”Some equipment and correspondence were affected. But no sensitive material was affected.”

Recall that on Wednesday, a part of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) headquarters in Abuja was on fire.

Just a few days ago also, a part of the office of the accountant-general of the federation was gutted by fire.
