Ahead of the Saturday’s ward congress of All Progressives Congress (APC) party nationwide, the immediate past Governor of Adamawa state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has conveyed a meeting of all the party’s stakeholders of Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha local government areas at his residence in Mubi.
Senator Jibrilla with the Senator Representing Adamawa Northern zone, Mr. Ishaku Abbo (Cliff), the House of Representatives Lawmaker representing Mubi North, Mubi and Maiha, Hon Magaji Jafar, Hon Abdulrahaman Shuaibu (Aras), Hon Mahmud Sali, and other party bigwigs were United to ensure consensus candidates emerge.
The stakeholders in the spirit of unity affirmed their loyalty to the party and vowed to ensure that the party continues to thrive in peace, justice, and fair play to all party loyalists.
Former Governor Bindow cautioned party faithful to ignore tendencies and all appearances of division as the Congress will commence tomorrow (Saturday).
Our correspondent who was in Mubi to monitor the meeting report that Bindow’s house was filled to the brim with supporters thronged to show their loyalty to him.
He observed that the popularity of the ex-governor is still waxing strong and gaining more political might by the day.
