
It was a busy moment at the National secretariat of the people’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Abuja as one of the youngest lawmakers in Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon Bathiya Wesley has picked nomination and expression of interest forms to contest Hong Constituent’s House of Assembly seat again.
According to Wesley, the decision was based on the broad consultations he made with Constituents, Elders, Youth, Women, Party Men, Supporters, Friends, and Family critical stakeholders of the constituency and they gave him a vote of confidence to be their lawmaker again.
He said the shackers and movers of PDP in Hong Constituency have given him the blessings to contest the seat for the second term as his representation for the past years was decked with excellent report.
He revealed that his resolution in seeking the re-election mandate under the PDP Party is to consolidate the many achievements he made for his people in the last legislative years.
Honorable Bathiya while giving his constituents the confidence of his stewardship as a Veritable, and a Unifier tool who remains a healing balm to their bruises said they are one in the journey to get it done again in 2023 and onward.
With a mammoth crowd, the Young lawmaker picked up the forms amidst cheers and told our correspondent that in 2023 is a double of performance in manifolds ways he will give.
He reminded the Youths of his planned total inclusiveness and empowering many of them in the area of skills acquisitions, employment generation and give women a good sense of belonging in his next term bid.
As a unifier, Wesley said his bills and resolutions, contributions, and laws he made will no doubt remain a rallying point of development in the state.
He called for steadfast support from all people of Hong to give him a second chance to do more and to deliver much more democratic dividends
