
The Roman Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint vitus in Prague, Capital of Czech Republic was charged with prayers of intercession and supplication for Nigeria by Cardinal Dominik Duka.
Archbishop Duka in an effort to mark this year’s Easter celebration alongside the Nigerian envoy to Czech Republic, His excellency Ambassador Kevin Peter they fervently prayed for the Peace and unity of the country.
Peter and his family were at Church service of the Roman Catholic of Saint Vitus in Prague and joined faith with his Lordship,Cardinal Dukan presented the case of Nigeria to God in the area of insecurity that is bringing down the glory of the country for Hi special intervention.
Joining their faith in one accord also, the entire church prayed well for the Government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari for God’s divine mercies to weather storms of insecurity tormenting the nation.
Ambassador Kevin, his family members, the embassy staff and friends were all felt a sigh of relief, with good hope that their prayers has been answered for Nigeria to have lasting peace in her walls, borders and every corner of the country.
“If I am to describe the environment at the Easter Sunday church service with the Cardinal, I will simply say it was atmospheric, Pneumatic, luminous presence of God with high assurance that our prayers has been answered.” Kevin said
Kevin also told our correspondent during a telephone interview that Nigeria and Czech Republic are two of best friends countries when it comes to the area of bilateral in all facets of life including seeking the face of God.
He said the love that the people of Czech Republic has for Nigeria is unprecedented, as intercessory prayers and supplication are being presented to God by many people in Czech Republic in many occasions.
