An explosive device suspected to be Bomb blast has this Tuesday, killed three (3) persons and injured Nineteen (19) others at Iware town of Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Confirming the incidence through a Telephone conversation with our Correspondent, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Taraba State Police Command, DSP
Usman Abdullahi said the explosion happened at a local drinking place located at Iware Cattle Market.
PPRO said, when the device exploded, three people were killed while nineteen others were injured.
He added that corpses of those killed have been taken to the Hospital for postmortem while the injured are currently receiving treatment at a Health facility in the area.
The Police image maker who told our Correspondent that Police and other Security Operatives have beefed up the area added that Peace has returned.
Speaking earlier, an eye witness account who spoke on the condition of unanimity said that a Teenager, suspected to have brought the Explosive device was immediately killed by an angry mob.
Our Correspondent gathered that Iware Cattle market is one of economic hub zones in Ardo-Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State that comes up weekly on Tuesdays.
