About Fifty Political and non Political Pressure Groups under the umbrella of Youth Coalition Forum Yola South has formally presented Nomination and Expresseion of Interest Forms they have purchased to member representing Yola South constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly calling on him to seek for third time re-election.
The leadership of the various groups led by Alhaji Suleiman while presenting the forms to the lawmaker at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat in Yola South local government on Sunday, said their decision to mobilize funds and purchased the forms was to encourage him to continue with the quality representation he is delivering to his Constituents.
Suleiman Adamu said, Kabiru Mijinyawa who served as member representing Yola South from twenty fifteen to twenty nineteen and re-elected into the office in twenty nineteen has proved to his people that he is a true representative who put his constituency first before any other interest.
Recieving the nomination and expresseion of interest forms from the group the member representing Yola South constituency at the Adamawa state house of assembly Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa reassured them, that he will continue justifying the confidence they have reposed in him.
Kabiru Mijinyawa while thanking them for all the support they have been giving him since his election to the state assembly in twenty fifteen reaffirmed that he will continue providing them with purposeful representation adding that he will strive to do more on what he has started and ready to welcome ideas that will assist him in improving the living standard of the electorate
He urged them to give him another mandate to enable him attract dividends of democracy to his constituents in particular and the State at large through effective representation.
The Senior Legislative aide on media and public affairs to the lawmaker, Alhaji Hussaini Ahmadu Har while enumerating some of the achievements of Kabiru Mijinyawa from twenty fifteen to date, said he had sponsored about fifteen bills, ten motions and chaired various standing and ad-hoc committee’s of the house within and outside the state and the country as part of his legislative functions.
He added that apart from engaging youths and women on environmental sanitation, payment of SSCE, scholarship to tertiary institution students, skills acquisitions training on various skills, provision of portable drinking water, electrification of communities, free eye other medical outreach, he also facilitated for road constructions in both rural urban areas in Yola South.
Hussaini Har also explained that, the lawmaker build five clinics, blocks of classrooms, examination halls secured employments from federal, state and local government to over two thousand people, empowered groups with tricycles, motor cycles and cash financial assistance to his electorates among others.
Addressing the gathering seperately former chairman Yola South Local Government Council Alhaji Abubakar Dauda and representative of women group Hajiya Hadiza Ngamlamu said the lawmaker has justify the confidence reposed in him by providing democracy devidends at the doorsteps of his people.
In his remarks the organizers of the program Alhaji Muhammad Chubado commended the stakeholders for the solidarity to the lawmaker, urged the delegates to give him another mandate to continue with the giant strides.
On his part the chairman All Progressives Congress APC Yola South Alhaji Manujo Usman Isa described the decision of the groups to purchased the forms to their serving representative as signed of quality and acceptable representation delivered to them by the lawmaker.
He assured of level play ground to all the aspirants during the forthcoming APC primaries and urged them to play politics with maturity adding that Kabiru Mijinyawa has proved to the electorate that, he is man of the people.
