Chairman, Lagos State Parks and Garages Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, says with or without certificate, the All Progressives Congress’ presidential flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will be elected Nigeria’s next President in 2023.
Oluomo said this in his reaction to Tinubu’s alleged certificate scandal.
The APC presidential flagbearer had told the Independent National Electoral Commission that his school certificates were stolen by unknown persons while he was forced to go on self-exile during the military rule.
He stated this in an affidavit submitted to INEC as part of his eligibility filings for the 2023 presidential elections.
Tinubu in the documents released on Friday, did not fill the columns for his primary and secondary education.
But he claimed that he obtained a degree in Business and Administration in 1979 at the Chicago State University.
The alleged certificate scandal had created a controversy, especially on social media.
Oluomo, who is Tinubu’s political ally, in his reaction, tweeted, “Certificate or No Certificate, Asiwaju is the next President of Nigeria. Who certificate help.”
