Adamawa state Commissioner of Police, CP SK Akande, ordered operatives of the Command, drawn from the Special Rapid Response Team (SRRT) and other Tactical squads to carryout a tactical and intelligence – driven 24/7 raid against hoodlums that want to distrupt the peace of the state and to checkmate all criminal activities, as a further manifestation of the Command’s determination to providing peaceful and conducive atmosphere in the State.
These deployments will surely assist in coordinating timely response to distress calls and to clamp down on those found committing crimes for the law to take its course.
The CP has equally directed the Divisional police officers to personally lead the night patrols in their respective Areas of responsibility (AOR) to ensure total domination of the public space.
The CP while re-emphasizing the firm determination of the Command in ensuring safety of lives and property seek full cooperation from members of the public to report any suspicious character around their neighborhood to the nearest police station or call on these emergency numbers .

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri while on a visit to the hospital alongside CP Akande assured his support to security agencies to ensure the state is rid of criminals. He urged the Police to fish out the perpetrators of the attack, warning that Government will not fold its arms and allow criminals to have their way.
