2023: Adamawa APC on course for unity to win elections,as SGF leads the center committee

Contrary to the assumption and insinuation of many that the Leaders of Adamawa State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) were in Abuja with plan to visit the first lady, Aisha Buhari over issues of divergence party interest was lie from the pit of hell.

In an effort to reply one Mohammed Mustapha Bash who raised an accusing finger at the leadership of the party to have been in Abuja and stayed back to meet the first lady, the state party’s mouthpiece, Alhaji Abdullahi Mohammed put the records straight and disputed views of Bash as a valueless thought with no substance.

Abdullahi opined that the crux of their visit to party stakeholders like Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the government of the federation (SGF) was about the Unity of the party.

And for that purpose, both the SGF and the first lady are the party’s Patriot who are ready to activate a reconciliatory process of taking over the state and winning elections at all levels.

Mohammed recalled how the party leadership under the acting State Chairman, Elder Samaila Tadawus on assumption to the office swung into action and constituted reconciliation committees that will bring about unity at the Senatorial levels, at the center, the SGF will be leading as the chairman of the main reconciliation committee.

“While I agree with the author that the SGF is frank and committed to the unity of our great Party, please note that the party leadership during the visit passionately requested the SGF to activate the reconciliation process based on his Leadership position and the appointment by the party which he gladly accepted to do with all seriousness as a party man.

“The party Leadership further requested him to bring the two leading parties (Sen. Binani and Mal. Nuhu Ribadu) together at a table as part of the amicable resolution of the current situation in the party and help to ensure that the party gets the opportunity to field a governorship candidate in the 2023 election. He also accepted to do so and promise to encourage them in the interest of the Party to accept the verdict of the Court of Appeal.

“The party leadership appreciates the SGF for his Leadership role and continued support to the progress and unity of the Party and urges other Federal appointees to emulate him.
The Party Leadership concluded its consultation visit in Abuja and returned to Yola on Sunday 23/10/2022.” Mohammed said

Abdullahi in a statement made available to our correspondent in Yola said the claim by Bash who authored that the leadership is still in Abuja to see any other person is not true and misleading.

He however said Individual members of the Party Leadership have every right to stay in Abuja for personal reasons and that should not be confused by the author.

“While the Party Leadership agrees with the author that Her Excellency the First Lady is a patriot and a great mother, he needs to be careful in the way and manner he tried to insinuate that Her Excellency will interfere with the judicial process.

“The author is now insulting the Party Leadership and turning around to claim that people are hired to insult others.
Those who don’t want to be insulted will never insult others. Just stick to the truth it shall set you free.” He stated
