An All Progressives Congress, APC, stalwart aspiring to be the next Governor of Adamawa come 2023, Alhaji Umar Mustapha Madawaki maintained that the State is not for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Umar who is popularly known as Otumba of Ekiti said this while declaring his interest to run for the 2023 general elections as a Governor.
According to him APC is certainly one and united to chase Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri out of office come 2023 because he was privileged to be there because of the APC intraparty fracas in 2019.
Otumba said the crack is sealed up, and no lizard will penetrate to cause any further cracks or problem again.
The declarant enjoined party leaders and all delegates to see him as one of the possible political aspirants that will make the ousting of Fintiri easy in 2023.
He said the current government under the PDP party has failed the state knowing the fact that Adamawa is seated and sleeping on many unharness natural resources.
“We have enormous problems of lack of administration ideas, our health services are nothing to write home about, the lack of infrastructure in the state is at the alarming rate, this is calling for urgent change.
” We must bridge up the gap and the deficit in the present administration must be eliminated and replaced by a better government,” Otumba said
While declaring Formally and announced to the mammoth crowd his intention to contest the office of Adamawa State Government, he said:
“I have taken my time before I come, I’m here to tell you that I’m more prepare to bring succor to our state,”
The declaration ceremony today made the party secretariat in a busy mode with hundreds of supporters, senior party men were in attendance to cheer up the hopeful aspirant.
Mustapha was praised to be a man with the blood of royalty and who can bring the state out of the woods of backwardness currently passing through.
