People Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has pledged to revive textile industries, fix bad roads, and addressed the insecurity situation in the country.
Atiku Abubakar stated this during his presidential rally held at the Ranchanse Bee’s Knees township stadium in Kaduna State, wowing to fulfill all promises made if voted for.
He stressed the issues of insecurities, bad roads, and dead textile industries.
In attendance at the presidential rally include his running mate and Delta Stae Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa; Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, former PDP chairman, Senator Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, among other top politicians.
In his welcome address, the PDP Governors’ Forum Chairman, Tambuwal said, “The opposition party doesn’t want us to continue with our rally, we have seen how they have failed, the bad impact of APC is affecting us today, all our textiles industries, factories have failed, we will recover all failed industries.”
The National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu, speaking said, “Looking at the attitude of sponsored thugs, the APC plan has failed. They think they could send in thugs. We booked Ahmadu Bello Stadium for this rally but not until yesterday we received a letter not approving the stadium.
“PDP will rescue this country, nothing will resist that.
