An All Progressives Congress (APC) ardent supporter and card-carrying member, Honourable Suleiman Yerima said the general opinion of Adamawa state indigenes has shown that the immediate past Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Jibrilla Umaru Bindow is the man with high chances, capacity, is able and ready to collect power from Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri led government of People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
Yerima said this as a witness on the recent consultation tour the former governor went to Southern and Central zone discussing and canvassing for support as the APC party primaries draw nearer from delegates
According to him, he saw acceptance and desperation from people to replace PDP with APC in 2023 by God’s will.
He said Bindow’s structure since he left power in 2019 is still intact with a United force to work for him to take over from PDP.
He pleaded with all aspirants to come out and face reality on the ground that it is only when APC remains a unified bounded of broom with a good candidate that they can be able to oust Fintiri, the incumbent Governor of the state.
He also called on the aspirants to see the one tenure of Bindow as four years of consolidating the unity of APC, to give it more grounds and strength to take over the state as the party of all people.
“Base on what I’ve seen, Adamawa people want Bindow to come back. what I saw on the ground is more of desperation than a desire to see him completing his four years terms, I saw the masses in need of him passionately.” Suleiman said
The APC party supporter enjoined the party delegates to reason along with aspirants’ personalities that will win in the coming general election, not to vote in someone that will end up giving PDP another chance to come back again.
“The delegates know who exactly will win the election. I’m begging them to support Bindow, calling on all and sundry in our party to come around him and work as a force to win the election.” He added
