A gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (PDP) Party in Adamawa State, Mallam Abdullahi Ahmed Musa (Speaker) has underscored the performance of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to have killed the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) goodwill in the state.
He said that the people of Adamawa are wane and tired with Governor Fintiri’s anti-people policies amounting to nothing than destroying the Image of the PDP.
He said PDP and Fintiri are no longer popular and gain the people’s general acceptance thereby losing good will with his underperformance governance.
For this Ahmed said the Governor is not fit or qualified to manage the people of Adamawa state well, only his long convoy and sirens is the most visible thing in the state.
He worried that under the watch of Governor Ahmadu the state is indebted to the turn of over two hundred billion naira. This according to him will enslave the state and the people for many years.
“The huge loan collected is not visible in terms of capital projects and even human development. Our Youths are roaming about doing nothing, to tell you how anti-people the Governor is, he sacked thousands of them previously employed but at the back door giving employments to other people who I believe are the sons and daughters of his political loyalists.
” Nothing I see tangible in the whole of Adamawa state, it is a flyover that can’t generate income or get substantial revenue for the state, it’s the best thing he can do in his four years in office as such I will name the flyover after his name,” Musa said
Musa who is on a wide consultation to ensure he clinches the gubernatorial ticket of APC in the state accused the Governor of balkanizing the system with a lot of ineptitudes leadership.
He said there is no wisdom or benefit since the Governor was assumed to the office and stayed for over six months without having commissioners in place, yet contracts were awarded in billions.
“Tell me how can he justify his idea of shrinking the state’s ministries in the name of reducing the cost of governance yet the effect of doing that is not being felt? He just balkanized the system to have a way of siphoning public funds nothing more, nothing less.
” When he resumed to office in 2019 his first policy statement was that he will work for six months without commissioners that help will him reduce the cost of governance, he has done that with billion of contracts awarded. It’s no doubt tantamount to crime because the Constitution of our country is in total disagreement with what he is doing.
“This is the ineptitude I’m talking about, it’s true, our Governor is a small Man, as it was said, the state is bigger than him, and is no doubt being seen pulling it down to his level for God’s sake.
” I will certainly replace him with my zero allocation agenda to manage the state, I will use our airport which is of international standard alone to create wealth for the state and have a robust human capital development for our people.”
“For you to know the Governor is losing acceptance many people are leaving PDP to APC, former Governor Bala James Ngilari, Chubado Babbi Tijjani, a former chief of staff, his kinsmen from Madagali Local Government dumped him for the opposition party, a Senator from his zone left him and Many people across the state have rejected. This is to tell you he has woefully failed.
” I can be a governor to fall to this extent that even my Brothers will not tour unto my political paths,” Musa added
Musa undermined the way and manner the state monthly allocation is not properly being utilized for the people of the state.
He wondered how constant of salaries payment became a thing of pride of a government whose responsibility is to pay civil servants their salaries, and earned allowances because it is their rights and the constitution has enforced that.
He said the schools in the state are in the worst collapse state, the school feeding system and free education is a hoax and mere propaganda of the Fintiri led government.
During one of his consultations in Fofure, Song, Gombi, and Hong local governments Musa comforted the people of the state that is coming around to replace Governor Ahmadu Umaru with a laudable and people’s oriented government.
The Guber aspirant said Ahmadu has turned governance and government a one-man and one-way affairs traffic. That the has a monolithic power arrogated to himself managing the state as if they are not in a democracy.
According to him for the first time, Adamawa State will have a female deputy Governor in 2023, assuring the people the endowed natural and human resources in many parts of the state will be well harnessed to build a Mini Dubai in Nigeria.

TG NEWS however observed that the Urban renewable mandate of Governor Ahmadu with the construction of many roads across the 21 local government is stand to condemn the position of the APC Guber aspirant.
