A former militants’ warlord, Josiah Oyakonghan, also known as Oyimi, has disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari should get himself ready to hand over power to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Oyakonghan, who is an Ex-warlord of the defunct Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta, MEND, revealed that Nigerians can put their faith in only Jonathan to put an end to their problems and numerous sufferings.
According to the ex-militant leader, “We, therefore, use this Easter celebration to urge Nigerians to continue to support Buhari’s administration for him to deliver on the promise of change we are committed to seeing, and also work for Jonathan to return to the Villa.
“We urge Buhari to work for Jonathan’s candidacy who will salvage our country and reawaken a new hope for national cohesion and development.
“President Buhari should therefore support GEJ for president for a new dawn in our country. Virtually every facet of our national life needs urgent attention and GEJ is the answer.”
There has been a lot of calls for Goodluck Jonathan to contest for the Presidency in 2023, and also for him to return to power.
