Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, stated on Saturday that Nigerians may once again have faith in the main opposition party ahead of the general elections of 2023.
Before the All Progressives Congress (APC) beat the PDP in 2015, the party had ruled the nation for 16 consecutive years. In 2019, the party that was branded itself the biggest party in Africa, again fell short to the APC.
However, Atiku stated in Gombe State that while the main opposition party may have made certain errors in the past, it is prepared to remedy those errors and offer excellent government for Nigerians in a speech following the launching of the PDP campaign secretariat in the state.
The former vice president arrived at the state airport on Saturday at precisely 10:45 a.m. and was met by a crowd of supporters in Gombe State.
