The All Progressives Congress (APC) Assistant Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Adamu AN Magaji (Juguy) in Adamawa has dumped the party for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Juguy left APC through a letter forwarded to his Chairman of Hong ward, Hong Local Government area of Adamawa state, and said he is resigning his membership of the party.
He also said that he seized to be the assistant publicity Secretary of the party from now on.
Juguy gave his reason for leaving the party and the state executive office over what he described as “unfair treatment of the government and the party.”
Juguy’s letter of resignation was endorsed today by the APC Chairman of Hong ward and reiterated his resignation from the state executive office base on the party’s internal crisis.
While thanking the party for the opportunity given to him and for serving, he said is resigning for good.
While responding to his resignation, the APC secretary, Dr. Raymond Chidama said Juguy’s decision is a relief to the party.
According to him, Juguy’s political relevance is never felt since he held the membership of the party and the position of Assistant publicity secretary.
“We wish him all the best at his new party. He has been a liability and nothing good of him we felt.” Raymond said
Juguy’s resignation is coming barely one month before the Presidential and Governorship election scheduled for February ends.
