As the 2023 general election is drawing much closer, the Northern Senatorial District in Adamawa is witnessing a massive political activities in all the Five Local Government areas.
The Senator representing the Zone, Distinguished Senator Ishaku Abbo has formed his campaign team drawn across the five local government making up the Federal Constituency.
Abbo code named the campaign team as Senator Ishaku Abbo Campaign Organization (SIACO) and said the Chairman Campaign Council is Hon. Vandy Maikyau from Michika Local Government area
While Uztas Jibrilla Jandani ( Ustaz Jibi) from Maiha is the Director General ( DG), he gave the office of the Deputy Chairman to Hon. Abubakar Sali ( Mai Wake) from Mubi North.
Others are Hon. Markus Gamache from Madagali Local Government as Deputy Director General of the campaign, while the office of Director Special Duties goes to Hon. Ahmed Musa ( Musa Ahmed Bello Ajayi) from Mubi North.
Hon. Samuel Zira Wagga (Michika) was appointed the Director Inter – Party Relations, the office of Director Religious Affairs ( Christian) goes to Reverend Abraham Wuta ( Michika), Director Religious Affairs ( Muslim) was given to Alhaji Adamu Ibrahim (Maiha)
Senator Abbo appointed Hon. Patience Charles Kwache as Director Women and Gender Related Affairs,the office of the Director Senior Citizens Welfare, Protection and Participation goes to Hon. Sylvester Wada.
The long list has the likes of Hon. Ibrahim Maipata (Mubi North) appointed as the Director of Associations, Groups and Unions, Deputy Director Inter Party affairs goes to Hon. Goni Sada (Mubi North), he also appointed Hon Aliyu Mubi to handle is New media Directorate New.
Director Research and Statistics,Director Finance,Director Logistics and Supply,Director Secretariat and Asst. Director Secretariat goes to Yahaya Titus (MAIHA), Hon. Ahijo Joel ( Mubi South), Alhaji Chankass (Mubi South), Alhaji Baba Modibbo (Mubi North ), Simon England Lvar (Mubi North) respectively
According to him Subsequent appointments of Directorates mostly Mubi South and Madagali Including 5 LGA Coordinators to be announced soon.
