A political group with the mandate of consulting senior political stakeholders across the country to compel the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Yaya Bello to aspire for the presidential seat in 2023 has bragged to mobilize the entire North East in his favor.
This assurance was given during EXCOS Inauguration and swearing -ceremony of the Adamawa State Chapter of Bello Ambassadors Network (BAN) by the North East coordinator of the group, Hon Suleiman Alkali.
Alkali who was a former lawmaker in the Adamawa House of Assembly conveyed politicians who are former commissioners, APC party officials from state to Local Government level to witness the inauguration of BAN officials in Adamawa said the movement is the saving grace of all Nigerians.
While making his speech to hundreds of people gathered at Lelewal Hotel Conference Hall in Yola said the inauguration is the beginning of a turning point for the mobilization of supporters to beg Governor Yaya Bello to accept their plea to join the twenty twenty-three (2023) presidential race.
He said calling on Bello became necessary because the country is facing a lot of challenges especially in terms of security which is so much linked to the high rate of unemployment facing the youths.
“This is one reason we felt Nigeria deserves a vibrant youth on the helms of affairs to solve our problems especially as it affects the youths, hence our coming together to call on the energetic Yahaya Bello to contest in 2023 presidential elections.
” On our part in the North East, we are determined resolute and committed to press hard on Yahaya Bello as we continue our drive to canvas for his support in the six states of the North East,” Alkali said
Alkali continues to say that 2023 is tagged Generational for change when Bala will give us a Nigeria guarantee of security, a Nigerian guarantee of peace and unity, and a Nigeria full of economic vibes
The National coordinator of the group who was the special guest of honor of the event, Chief Anthony Onogo said BAN’s membership drive is growing at a very unprecedented rate.
According to him people are Volunteering joining and sacrifice their resource for Yaya Bello to be the next president of Nigeria is one of the motivating factor that Nigeria needs a Youth in the person of Yaya.
He said Yaya Bello is a Youth, calling on Adamawa to use this time to get a young man like him who is doing well as the executive Governor of Kogi state.
While recounting Bello’s achievements as a Governor he said is the youngest Governor in Nigeria, a bride builder who builds people without minding their religion or tribe.
He said under Bello, Kogi is one of the peaceful states whose proactive performance as a leader gives him a visionary idea of making Kogi a better state and he will make Nigeria an ideal country to be.
The newly sworn-in Adamawa state Secretary of the Association, Hon Hussaini Ahmadu Har who is a renowned grassroots mobilizer told this medium is a high time the youth should take over the mantle of leadership from aged parents.
He said it is a ripe time for Nigeria youths to rally round their own, as Yaya Bello is one of them and they can play a vital role to bring him to power as President come 2023.
