A group of the Founding members of All Nigerians People’s Party (ANPP) before it was merged with All Progressives Congress (APC) have congratulated Senator Shettima Kashim over his nomination as the Vice President of the Presidential Flag bearer of the party, Chief Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
The group under the umbrella of Great Nigeria Group (GNG) in a congratulatory letter to His Excellency Distinguished Senator Kashim Shettima said they have remained resolute towards achieving success for the APC to the Polls.
The Letter with the signature of Dr. Umar D. Duhu (National Coordinator), Chief Livinus Agala Opuakpa (National Secretary), and Hon. Rasaq Folorunso (South West Coordinator) said as a conglomerate of the Leadership of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) congratulated them because he merited it.
“Your well-deserved success of becoming the Vice Presidential Candidate for Our Great Party, the All Progressives Congress, APC. We always knew you will be chosen, and we are amazingly proud of you.” The letter read
While appealing to Shettima to carry them along while constituting the APC Presidential Campaign Council to have a sense of belonging, the GNG group said they will work harder for the 2023 election, and give their unwavering support for their collective victory at the polls.
“We assure you that, we remain resolute to work harder to achieve victory
for our Great Party, the APC, and we are reminded to approach it with humility, grace, and kindness. Furthermore, we appreciate and acknowledge how you share your success with your team, and the love for your team is one of the reasons you rise to the top.” It said
The letter continues to read:
“To say we are thrilled by this goal of achievement is an understatement as we have been inspired by your exemplary leadership skills and the hard work you have put to achieve this fit.
“The GNG is not unaware of the fact that you worked so hard to achieve this accomplishment and we never thought of anyone who deserves it more having overcome many obstacles to achieve this win. Your perseverance is and has been an inspiration to everyone you meet, and earned all the tributes that came your way.
“Once more, Congratulations and we are praying fervently to witness your Inauguration as the next Vice President, Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
