Namdas, a hopeful gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) worried that he is yet to see development in concrete terms in the area, the largest constituency in the state is representing.
The Chairman House Committee on security said this while playing host to Elders forum of his campaign strategy in Lelewal Motel, Yola and intimated them of his unwavering decision to contest the Governorship seat of Adamawa state.

The Elders who are experienced politicians drawn across the twenty-one local government of the state the National Lawmaker said are confident if they can move as one trusted group is a victory all the way.
He told he has gone far in reaching out to the political class and who that matters as senior citizens of the state of his ambition to contest, calling them at this time is to remind them how important they are to him and the journey takes over the state from PDP.
“Bringing the real change, Namdas for Governor” is the slogan for the onward journey, a dream according to him that placed him to transform Adamawa into a great state.
He said his capacity and capability to be the Governor is without measure haven gathered experience on putting on so much strength in building his political niche.
According to him, insecurity is the major problem of this country, his experience as the chairman house committee on security allowed him to know that without a secured society no nation or state can develop.
He vowed to make sure Adamawa is secured and peace return to all areas of the state, and he will education as another blueprint to change Adamawa state.
“I consulted Seventy percent of Adamawa senior stakeholders, intimated them that I m having the ambition to contest the Governor of the state.
“The purpose of calling you to this meeting means a lot, you are indeed a veritable instrument that will lead our success. I’m formally telling you that I’m contesting and you are one of my arrowhead supporters.
“Please let us be United, team up to save Adamawa state. It’s time by my cloak to form the government in the state.
“The major problem of our country is insecurity, what my eyes, my legs went to I have more than enough as chairman on house committee on security to fix this state.
“Education is one of the key agendas I set to achieve, set it up as a goal to achieve with security giving us the peaceful environment to succeed,” Namdas said
He also said reverence to traditional rulers and elders in the state is another Cardinal and core value of his government.
He enjoined the elders to be faithful United supporters as What God says will be it will be, and the person He ordained to be the Governor will certainly be.
“I can never leave as we are moving and paddling in the same political boat. I hope I will have the needed support from you. I’m begging us to sheath our swords of the outcome of the past congress.
“Chances of the election are very high, if we didn’t make it is not because they are fit it’s because we are not United.
” Be rest assured that nobody can impose a candidate by any Abuja cabals as many of you may be thinking. Let’s look for a leader that knows the problem of Adamawa and knows the political nitty-gritty of the State and that leader is me.” Namdas added
Hon Shuaibu Abdulrahman who is Namdas’ political hitman had earlier informed the elders that they are commissioned and ordained for One-on-one consultations, House to house visits seeking support as one of the strategies adopted for Namdas success.
According to him uprooting a seating government can only be possible with strong people like Namdas hence his decision to be his forefront man in ensuring the victory.
“Our main interest is to form the government in the state. He is most qualified and expressed his interest. It’s with this we reposed our confidence with people like you at the grassroots in various local government areas and wards.
“We entrusted you with this movement because we found you worthy. We are here for honest movement, not to deceive ourselves.” Shuaibu said
The meeting with Elders forum by Namdas culminated with another meeting with women for Namdas 2023, having Hajiya Halima Hayatu as their state coordinator.
She told Namdas the women are representative of 226 ward coordinators and advisers structured to consult, canvass and call for his support.
