All Progressives Congress (APC) Staunch loyalists in Adamawa State have emerged and vowed to chat a course that will consolidate the perennial internal fracas that bedeviled the Party system.
The group under the umbrella of Adamawa APC Unity Forum are prominent members of the party who served the Adamawa State as Lawmakers, Local Government Area Chairmen, Party leaders and men and women of good political good with leadership pasture to work for the overall unity of the state.
The group in a show of loyalty to the leadership of the party visited the State Secretary of APC in Adamawa under the leadership of Barr Idris Shuaibu and renewed their commitment to the party and promised to work together and support them to achieve a sense of Unity that’s seen in disarray over the years.
The Director General of the group, Abubakar Hamma Girei (Dan Lawan Girei) addressed the state officials and revealed that the group is moving with the agenda to unite the party, have the membership drive of the party for the purpose of numerical strength.
According to Hamma the essence is to build a party with the embience of genuine reconciliation and unite all Party members in preparation for the coming 2027 general elections.
Hamma reiterated that APC at the national level has done quite enough that can use to tell Nigerians of the massive achievements of the party under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu able leadership.
He said the giant strides of the Party is giving them the confidence and assurance that APC in Adamawa State is a Party to beat, and the only problem that may be an impedement is the party’s lack of cohesion and unity of purpose which they are going to solve in addressing it headlong anytime soon.
“It’s what we intend to achieve, work on and make sure that all agrieve members are reached, consulted and pacify to remain party die-hard because there’s no party that’s better than APC.” Hamma said
He further said that one of the objective of the forum is to embark on a membership drive of which new members will be registered into the fold of Adamawa APC.
The Forum Directorate Stakeholders engagement, Hon Vrati S Nzonzo who is a grassroot politician and has his tentacles across the 21 Local Government areas haven been a former council Chairman of Lamurde Local Government and contested the party leadership.
He said the Forum will be working on a maximum unity and Party productivity thereby giving the APC high political gains in the state.
Vrati Nzonzo said the forum will serve as the private sector on partnership with the party to Foster Unity, galvanize new members to join the party and build a cohesive, egalitarian Party system whose passion is driven for the love of it by all members.
Responding on behalf of the Chairman who is unavoidable absent, the Party secretary, Dr Raymond Chidama gave the forum an open arms of love and welcome them to support them in bringing back the beauty of the party.
He told the group that they have been wanting a partnership of this nature to encourage them work in line with the party’s manifestoes from national down to the ward level.
Raymond Chidama commended Tinubu’s leadership and praised the efforts of Mallam Nuhu Ribadu who is the leader of the party in the State.
He also thanked an Elder Statesman and a critical Party stakeholder, Alhaji Sadiq Kalu (Walin Ganye) for his tireless support to the party and the development of Adamawa State.
He however advised them to be a true and loyal group of the party not sabotaging the efforts to what they intended to do with betrayals and unfaithful movement.
