2027: Adamawa PDP Loses Bigwig, Says Party Handlers Frustrated Him to Exit

The Adamawa State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been dealt a significant blow with the resignation of grassroots politician, mobilizer and party stalwart, Mr. Aaron Yaduma.

Yaduma, a prominent figure who contested for the Gombi/Hong House of Representatives seat in the Federal Constituency during the 2023 elections, formally exited the party on March 24, 2025.

Yaduma submitted his resignation letter to the Ward Chairman of Diksiri in Hong Local Government Area, alongside his PDP membership card bearing number 2209616. In the letter, he cited “personal reasons” for his departure.

The lessons learned and experience gained are worthwhile

In his resignation letter, Yaduma expressed gratitude to the party stakeholders for the opportunity to serve and contest the Gombi/Hong Federal Constituency seat in 2023.

“The lessons learned and experience gained are worthwhile,” he wrote, reflecting on his time with the PDP.

However, the letter offered no hint of his next political move, leaving room for speculation about his future. Public reactions and political analysts,

however, point to a potential defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

As the PDP grapples with this high-profile loss, questions linger about the party’s internal dynamics and its ability to retain grassroots talent. For now, Aaron Yaduma’s next steps remain a subject of intense speculation, with all eyes on the next move of this political heavyweight, a man so much loved by his people.
