Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has held a closed-door meeting with former military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his Hill Top residence in Minna, Niger State capital.
Obasanjo was accompanied from the Ahmed Bola Tinubu International Airport, Minna by Government House protocol officials.
Obasanjo spent about 30 minutes in the closed-door meeting with the former Nigerian leader before returning to the airport.
It was gathered the visit may not be unconnected with national issues or the 2027 general elections. But no official statement was issued.
Recall that recently, Obasanjo had received opposition political party bigwigs in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
No official statement has been issued on the purpose of the visit.
