Governor Babagana zulum of Borno state gave food and non food palliatives to over twenty five thousand households of Nganzai Local Government area.
He said the quantum of humanitarian support compared to 2019 has reduced by about 50% because of his administration Policy of support diversification.
According to him the state is gradually traversing from humanitarian support to medium and longer-term, sustainable solutions and investing heavily in irrigation farming
He provided palliative to ten thousand males beneficiaries who received 25kg of rice and 25kg of maize, respectively. While fifteen thousand females received N5000 and a wrapper each respectively.
He acknowledged President Tinubu’s administration and the North East Development Commission for their support and Prayed for Almighty Allah to continue to grant them more wisdom to do more for the state.
