A horrific incident has occurred in Nnewichi, Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State, where three siblings, aged five, seven, and nine, were brutally murdered and their bodies stuffed into a deep freezer. The victims, two girls and a boy, were found dead on Saturday, leaving their family and community in a state of utter devastation.


According to eyewitnesses, the assailants entered the family’s home while the children were eating, killed them, and then placed their bodies inside the freezer. The mother, Chikazor Ejezie, a lecturer and nurse, was away taking an examination, while the father, Ejezie Udochukwu, was also absent, working in Edo State.
Upon returning home, the mother noticed that the door was wide open, which raised her suspicions. A frantic search ensued, and the bodies of the three siblings were discovered in the freezer. The father recounted the ordeal, stating that they initially searched for the children at church before finding their lifeless bodies at home.

The family resides in a bungalow shared with two tenants and a landlord, and the police have launched an investigation into the heinous crime. The Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Itam, has transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka, ensuring a thorough probe into the incident.
The community of Nnewichi is demanding justice, urging the authorities to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to book. The tragic incident has sent shockwaves throughout the region, with residents calling for increased security measures to prevent such horrific crimes from occurring in the future.
