The people of Mbamga constituency, Sardauna Local Government Area of Taraba State who are People’s Democracy Party members in a way of dispelling a skewed and unfounded social media reports reiterated that the former Speaker, Rt Hon Abel Peter Diah who is their leader and ever remains a party loyalist.
According to them a sponsored social media propaganda of Abel’s plan to dump PDP for APC is a lie from the pit of hell that can never be substantiated and no basis.
A constituent, Mohammed Suleiman Titong while responding to our Taraba correspondent said the journey of the lawmaker representing the Mbamga constituency in the Taraba State of Assembly in PDP is a journey of no go anywhere.
He said Peter is a die-hard PDP for life and the concocted report are his disgraced enemies who are adding nothing valuable to the growth of the state and PDP as a party.
“We know what he has invested, his time and resources and his political goodwill I know Abel can never contemplate going to any party talk more APC the party he knows nothing about,” Mohammed said
Another constituent, Jacob Dauda said he knows Abel as a political principled Man whose ideology is beyond petty politics that will be planning to defects to another party without due and widely consultation.
He lambasted one Danladi Musa who is peddling around with false post of Abel’s purported plans of defection to be flouting fake social media accounts to spread the mischievous stories.
“I want the whole to know that Abel is a matured politician in Taraba state. Currently is among the peace committee members who are going around the state reconciling an aggrieved party who in one way or the order feel maltreated.
” It’s because of his political weight and might that PDP in Taraba under the leadership of Governor Darius Ishaku found him worthy to work for the party.
“As far I’m concerned it is trash to link our most valued lawmaker of defecting to APC.” He said
He said Musa’s dubious attitudes will soon catch up with him as his true identity will soon be known and his sins will find him behind the bars.
Our reporter further contacted Mr. Peter for his response the lawmaker laughable responded that his political foes are fighting a defeated fight.
“They are just bringing unnecessary tension makes us fight with the Governor who they discovered we are having a good relationship with him.” He said
Peter disclaimed the rumors and the social media posts in their entirety and said he remain focused for Taraba to be forever PDP stated
