The Kebbi State branch Controller of CBN, Alhaji Abdullahi Dantsoho made this known at the end of a two day fair for stakeholders on Small and Medium Enterprenues organised by the Corporate Communication Department of CBN Abuja in Kebbi State.
Alhaji Dantsoho explains that, the loans by the CBN were not free, saying those acquired the loan should not take it as free.

He revealed that, CBN has provided policies and programmes such as Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund (ACGF), Ancho Borrower Programme (ABP), Agent Banking, Cashless Policy, Financial Inclussion, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Scheme (MSMES) among others that have greatly influence the agricultural production and practice, payment system and mode of operations of Micro Small and Medium Enteprises business in the country.
The Controller however, commended the participants for graciousely asking questions that cleared any doubt on CBN policies and programmes.
The fair with the “Theme” Promoting Financial Stability and Economic Development was to serve as a forum where stakeholders and the Central Bank of Nigeria meets to appraise and receive feedback on the impacts of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and boosting of non oil export and foreign exchange earning.
