Former Governor Bala James Nggilari has prayed Almighty Allah to accept all the prayers and supplications of Muslim brothers and sisters across Adamawa State as they begin 2021 Ramadan Fast.
The former Governor in his ramadan message to the muslim ummah also admonished the faithfuls to use the holy month of Ramadan for intercession against all evils, ranging from: banditry, kidnappings, hunger, poverty, bad governance, covid-19 and all other forms of violence that are hindering peaceful coexistence among the heterogeneous cultures in Adamawa State.
“As you converge daily for Tafsirs messages and congregational prayers,I also urged you to keep complying with the public health advisory on Covid-19” Ngillari said.
According to him, “the state and the country are in serious need of prayers and this is the right time during Ramadan period”
RAMADAN fast according to islamic rites is an act of worship,a chance to get closer to God and a way to become more compassionate to those in need.
