Senator Ishaku Abbo who is representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial District has vowed to work as a bridge builder who is rallying around the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in the state to ensure party supremacy stands than individuals’ interest.
Abbo in an interview with our correspondent said he believes in APC that the party has what it takes to send away the government of PDP in Adamawa state.
For this reason, according to him, he has been visiting critical stakeholders of the party to build a Political party that will encourage Internal Democracy that can build a strong institution.
He said where there are stronger institutions it will build strong people and the party will remain strong because of the strong system.
Abbo, one of the Youngest Senator in the Senate-Assembly revealed his passion to see APC redeem Adamawa State because of the people’s mandate policy the party is having.
Revealed that he took a firm decision to ensure Party interest supersede individual interest in the coming 2023 elections, making himself a Man building the bridge that will bring all sons and daughters of APC under the roof of party Unity.
Ishaku said this immediately after he visited Senator Binta Masi Garba in her Abuja residence and discussed issues relating to party unity in the state.
He told this medium that Masi is one among the stakeholders he visited, said that some weeks ago he has visited the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Barr Boss Mustapha, Former Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow, Rt Hon Abdulrazak Namdas, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and many others are in his agenda to consult in a sooner possible time.
“I’m consulting these people to build a stronger political party (APC) so that we can continue to deliver dividends of democracy to Nigeria people,” Abbo said
He worried that China is a one-party system country where the interest of the nation is more than everyone, but in Nigeria where there are so many mosques and Churches is not corresponding to the level of development as corruption is taking the center stage.
He said also, he is the advocate of building a strong political system, a reason he has been visiting people to bring APC as a strong party system that will not only take power in Adamawa in 2023 but will rule up to fifty years or hundreds of years in Nigeria.
“My purpose and focus is to see that bigger and stronger institutions are created, and that institutions are political parties so that when this is in place, we have strong people to many the institutions. Abbo added
