Four out of 24 girls abducted in Kautikari village of Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State by Boko Haram have been released.
According to residents of the area, the girls were freed on Sunday, January 30, 2021.
The girls were kidnapped alongside 20 others during an attack on January 14, 2022 in Kautikari village and other surrounding villages of Chibok.
Chibok which is about 150km from Maiduguri the Borno State capital has constantly suffered attacks from both Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists.
