A 42-year-old housewife, Maman Zainab, reportedly collapsed and died during a Ramadan tafsir at a mosque in Gawu, Abaji Area Council of the FCT, Abuja.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred on Tuesday at around 11:23 am while Maman Zainab was attending the tafsir with other women at the mosque.
A resident of Gawu, Ismail Bala, confirmed that Maman Zainab had left her home in good health to attend the tafsir, but suddenly felt dizzy and complained of a severe headache before collapsing.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The doctor attributed her death to high blood pressure.
Maman Zainab’s remains were buried according to Islamic rites.
