The Independent National electoral commission declared Adamawa state Governorship elections inconclusive.
While declaring the election inconclusive, Prof Andrew Haruna Said 44 polling units were characterized with elections malpractices cut across ten LGAs of the state.
The Polling Units Affected in Northern Senatorial zone of the state are; Madagali has three (3) PUs for rerun,Michika five (5) PUs affected for rerun and Mubi North with (3) PU’s. While Hong LGA and Song LGAs of central zone were affected with four (3) and three (4) PU’s respectively
The Southern senatorial district have Toungo LGA with three (3) PUs,Demsa have four (4) PUs,Numan is having six (6) PUs,Lamurde three (3 ) PUs and Guyuk which is having three (3) PUs on the rerun list.
According to him relevant stakeholders and authority concern will meet to reschedule a new date for the rerun.
