A Federal High Court in Abuja has passed a judgment in favor of Engr Adamu Samaila Numan, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Adamawa Southern Senatorial District’s candidate.
In the ruling today, Justice Emeka Wite held that even though the guidelines of the APC were breached, the same guidelines do not provide for the consequences of a breach.
Wite ruled that In effect, Adamu Ismaila will be the candidate for the APC.
The plaintiffs, Senator Grace Bent, Senator Abubakar Moalayidi, and Barr Silas Bala Sanga who have participated in the primaries dragged Adamu to have induced the process with a lot of irregularities.
Sanga who spoke on behalf of the other two aspirants said: “We thank the court for making our appeal easier. We are heading to the Court of Appeal.”
He called their supporters not to give up in the fight for good party politics that will ensure better Democratic ideals.
“Let’s not lose hope. I intend to fight this matter in the Supreme Court.
“Thank you for your continuous support I will always appreciate it.” He said
