The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Adamawa state Council join millions of Adamawa citizens in felicitating with the ATM Governor on attainment of his five year anniversary in office as the democratically elected Governor of Adamawa State.
The Union Similarly wishes to warmly Congratulate the Governor for completing and ready for commissioning of the first multi-billion naira Grade interchange at the former popular police round- about which is to be performed by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on 29th May 2024.
The commissioning of the mega Project which heralds the celebration of the 5-year Anniversary is not only significant to the good people of the state,but a demonstration of pragmatic style of the leadership by His Excellency,Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in transforming the state capital into a mega city of attraction among the league of States.
Other specific areas of delight that worth mentioning is the flag-off of construction of the first Ultra mordern Sports Complex whose opportunity has eluded the state since the Defunct Gongola state,, Commissioning of Demsa Cottage Hospital and Township road, flag-off construction of 7-span Flyover at AA Lawan Junction and interchange at Yola/Numan Road as well as construction of Road Network at Federal Housing Estate Bajabure all within the Metropolis.
The NUJ being the umbrella body of all practicing Journalists in the state viewed the performance of the Governor as not only commendable but one of the best among Nigerian Governors in terms of Projescts and good governance wich touches all spheres ranging from Agriculture, Education,
youth empowerment.and entrepreneurship among numerous other sectors.
NUJ is proud to associate it’s self with this aspiring feat of His Excellency and pledge it’s total loyalty and support at all times.
The good citizens of Adamawa state should also support the course by praying fervently for a sustained peace and tranquility for more flourishing dividends of democracy.
