…Bello says Ahmadu is a serial betrayal, because of power is romancing those he calls “infidels”
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who is the Chairman of Adamawa Concerned citizens, Alhaji Hussaini Gambo Bello Nakura warned Adamawa state voters never to trust Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri with his second term agenda.
According to Hussaini that Fintiri has done nothing in concrete terms in the interest of the common man. that can qualify to become the next Governor of the state again.
He said Fintiri’s four years is full of anti-people policies to have been diverting taxpayers money meant for the state in billions of naira with no accountability.
Gambo alleged that Governor Fintiri has squandered away over two billion three hundred million (2,300,000,000) naira funds deducted from the 21 Local Government areas to buy foodstuff to be distributed across the 226 political wards in the state.
He revealed that the money deducted from each local government is one hundred and eleven million but he ended up distributing pastry grains of genuine corn, maize, and rice.
He said out of the huge money deducted every ward was said to have been given forty bags of grains and eleven million naira was earmarked.
Gambo further alleged that Fintiri is a serial betrayal with a high tendency to disappoint the People of Adamawa State if they voted him into power for the second time.
Gambo in a recorded radio Hausa program interview in Yola recalled how the political journey of Fintiri has been synonymous with betraying those that brought him to power.
According to him Fintiri from ACN Party when he contested the state house of assembly seat and tried to come for the second term bid told Murtala Nyako, the then Governor that the “Infidels” of Madagali will not vote for him.
Gambo said Fintiri uses religious, tribal identity whenever he is desperate for power and betrays whoever supported him.Always biting hard the Finger that feeds him.
He said the support Fintiri got from Nyako in 2011 to come back that he later betrayed him with an impeachment saga pay back and became the acting Governor was one of the noticeable act of ungratefulness.
“The state will be doomed if Fintiri, a serial betrayal is allowed to come back for the second term.
“He betrayed Former Governor Boni Haruna who worked for him to win the last election. He betrayed former Governor Bala James Ngillari who Nyako used to make sure he wins his assembly ticket in 2011. These are his senior Brothers from the same senatorial zone. Then tell me who is it that Fintiri will not betray?
“These people are most qualified to represent the zone as senators but he ditched them for an unpopular candidate, even their entitlement as former Governors he denied until the court intervened.
“I’m calling on Adamawa people to know that the coming back of Governor Fintiri for the second term will not be a good omen for the state. The state will be doomed with many problems” Gambo said
Gambo during the interview with Fombina Radio was trying to reply Alhaji Uba Dan’arewa, a strong member of the All Progressives Congress who is fighting tooth and nail to see that Senator Aishatu Dahiru Modibbo (Binani), the party’s governorship candidate is not elected.
He accused Uba of being an ungrateful politician whose loyalty can always be in doubt because of material things.
Gambo said Uba’s penchant hatred for Binani to the extent of open anti-party activities will never stop her from winning in the coming Saturday election.
He worried over the flimsy propaganda against her of land grabbing of the people of the Southern Senatorial zone to Fulanis will not see the light of day. He said Binani is going to be a leader that will be fair and just to all people.
He praised her to be a heroine political phenomenon whose time has come that the likes of Uba will never stop her dream of becoming the next Governor of Adamawa coming to pass because is going to be God’s pure decision.
He therefore called on eligible voters, especially women to dust out their PVCs and massively cast out their votes for Binani because the race will eminently going to favor her.
