Elites of Adamawa State residents in Abuja have honored Barrister Chafari Kanya Hanawa with an award of dedicated service as the Director-General (DG) West African Gas Pipeline Authority (WAGPA).
The event which took place at the Shehu Yar’aduwa center in Abuja under the auspices of the Adamawa community in Abuja presented an award to the first female WAPGA DG for her service to the nation and other countries of West Africa.
Kanya bagged the merriteous award in recognition of her unrelenting and patriotic service to humanity and was commended for having given so much to the support of the downtrodden, and the less privileged, and for community service.
The which was Collected by Engr Falama Bathon Ati in Representation of the Barr Kanya unavoidable presence was celebrated on an ovation stand.
Kanya alongside prominent sons and Daughters of the state including former SGF Boss Mustapha, Senator Iya Abbas, Sen Binos Yaroe, Sen Amos Yohanna, Hon Abdulrazak Namdas, Hon Buba Yakubu Yusuf, Hon Magaji Haske, and Hon. Barr Wakili Boya.
Others on the award lists are Engr Saidu Njidda, Hon Kwamoti B Laori, and a host of others
