7th day Prayers: Governors, Sen Yaroe, DSS Boss, others pay tribute to Late Baba Tola

Over five thousand hunters across the Northeastern part of Nigeria have converged on Tola , the country home of the late famous hunter and Boko Haram cracker, Muhammad Usman Tola to pray for the repose of the soul of the Gallant.

The late Baba Tola as fondly called during his life time was the Chairman, Hunters Association Northeast Zone of Nigeria and doubles as the State Chairman of the Association in Adamawa state.

He died on 9th April 2024 after a brief illness at Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital Yola.

He was known for his gallantry having participated in neutralizing the dreaded Boko Haram that ravaged the northeast Zone of the country.

The late Baba Tola has also traversed the Cameroun Republic bushes while hunting and chasing criminals terrorizing the fringes and boarder of the two countries.

The Director General, Directorate of State Security Services,Abuja, Bauchi state Governor, Senator Bala Mohamed,Niger State Governor, Senator Binos Yaroe representing Adamawa South in the National Assembly,a delegation of hunters from Beka, Cameroun Republic, Islamic Scholars and other lawmakers from Nassarowo-Binyeri and Toungo poured tributes on the late great hunter.

Senator Binos Yaroe described Late Baba Tola as famous hunter that contributed in maintaining security in his larger constituency.

The Senator said he would personally missed his critical role in cracking down crimes and criminality in the zone.

The two lawmakers from Nassarawo-Binyeri and Toungo all described him as an epitome of peace.

The DSS Boss,Niger and Bauchi State Governors as well as Commissioner of Police,Sokoto State have earlier reached out to the family to consoled with them over the irreparable loss.
Senator Bala Mohamed having impressed with the gallantry of late Baba Tola was the first in the Northeast to have provided the late hunter with vehicles and logistics to boost his morale.

The Adamawa state Commissioner of Police, DANKOMBO MORRIS who led top police officers to Tola said, the late hunter was a promising gallant in protecting the society.

The District Head of Binyeri, Alhaji Yunusa Danjuma who felt as a honour because of the tumultuous crowd of people that besieged Tola, the Headquarters of the District urged people particularly hunters to follow the footsteps of Late Baba Tola.
The Board of Trustees who are about 10 in number after due consultation and after the fiddau prayer announced Modibbo Idris Tola by the Public Relations Officer of the Zone from Bauchi,Garba Husseini as the new Acting Chairman of the Hunters Association Northeast Zone of Nigeria.
He is being adjudged by the BOT members as in the meantime, the only one that learned the robs since his childhood under Late Baba Tola.
