The immediate past Governor of Adamawa State Senator Muhammed Umaru Jibrilla Bindow while felicitating with Professor Jibril Aminu as he turned 80, has described the Octogenarian as an enigma, a rare model and a blessing not only to the people of Adamawa State but the nation at large.
In a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Martins Dickson. Bindow said Professor Jibril has written his name in gold and his footprints will ever remain visible in the sands of time.
He described Professor Aminu as a patriotic Nigerian who loves his people of Adamawa state and has ensured tangible development while he held various offices in the country.
The NNPC depot Yola and the Federal University of Technology situated in Yola are some of the major institutions that Professor Jibril lobbied to be situated in Adamawa state.
Bindow added a prayer for Professor Jibril; “May your life as an Octogenarian be filled with good health, boundless happiness and immeasurable blessings”.
Bindow further stated that as an educationist and a politician, Professor Jibril Aminu has championed the course of human development and capacity building to as many as he had access to. Generations to come will reap from the enormous contributions of this great Octogenarian.
